Description
Wedge Anchors are completely strung, stud type, high-grade steel stays for use in strong cement or grout-filled solid workmanship. It is amassed with a three-section extension cut and provided total with nut and washer. The development cut guarantees uniform holding limit that increments as strain are applied. The strung stud variant is accessible in six distances across and various lengths. Strung studs are set by fixing the nut. Wedge grapples are most appropriate to static applications.
Facture:-
- Nonbottom bearing: No need for exact hole depth – Hole bottom not required to set anchor
- Dual embossments on each clip segment: Enables clip to undercut into the concrete thereby increasing follow-up expansion should a crack occur.
- Type 316 Mild-steel clip-on Mild steel anchors: In addition to superior corrosion resistance, a stainless-steel clip offers “memory” that contributes to the anchor’s performance if the hole increases in size because of a crack.
- High Performance: Anchorage occurs near the bottom of the hole giving a true 360° of contact.
Application:-
- Curtain Wall
- Barriers
- Handrails
- Racking
- Structural Steel/ Steel Base Plates
- Hand Rails
- Heavy Plant
- Passenger Lifts
- Seating
- Cable Trays
- Pipe Support
- Brick Shelf Angle
Installation guide:-
- Drill a hole in the base material using a carbide drill bit of the same diameter as the nominal diameter of the anchor to be installed. To ensure a proper and secure fit, the hole drilled in the concrete should be the same diameter as the thread on the concrete wedge anchor.
- Drill the hole to the specified embedment depth and blow it clean using a compressed air blower or a brush. Overhead installations need not be blown clean. Alternatively, drill the hole deep enough to accommodate embedment depth and dust from drilling.
- Assemble the anchor with nut and washer so that the top of the nut is flush with the top of the anchor. Place the Wedge Anchor in the fixture and drive into the hole using a hammer until the washer and nut are tight against the fixture. The anchor must be driven until at least six threads are below the surface of the fixture.
- Tighten the nut to the recommended installation torque.
